Shipbuilding & Marine

Fillet welding carriages, magnetic fixtures and large-format CNC cutting for shipyards.

Industry Solution

Productivity tools for hull block fabrication

Shipyards weld kilometres of fillet and butt seams on stiffened panels and blocks, often in confined spaces. Battery-powered magnetic welding carriages, permanent-magnet fixtures that replace tack-welded brackets, large-format CNC cutting and rugged multi-process power sources raise output while reducing rework.

Challenges

What manufacturers need

Long fillet seams

Manual welding of stiffeners is slow and depends on welder skill.

Confined spaces

Equipment must be light, compact and battery-powered.

Temporary brackets

Tack-welded brackets damage plates and must be removed afterwards.

Large plates

Plate cutting needs wide gantries, bevel heads and marking.

Our Solution

Equipment configuration

  1. Welding carriages

    SHRA-L / SHRA-S / SHRA-P / SHRA-T and SHTIGER magnetic carriages with oscillation, lithium battery power and contour-following wheels.

  2. Magnetic fixtures

Right-angle locators, profile clamps and plate joiners (750–4000 kgf) replace tack-welded brackets.

  3. Plate cutting

ESAB PHOENIX PXE and ERGOSTAR EXA gantries with bevel cutting and inkjet / powder marking.

  4. Power sources & cobots

ESAB Fabricator EM 510i, Warrior 500i and magnetic-base SHRHC12 collaborative robots.
